Windows Firewall is off whenever I restart my computer...
Don't know why it's shutting itself off, I don't see anything in the settings why it should.

Click on Start, Run, and type services.msc.

Locate your Windows Firewall and make sure the service is on Automatic and Started.

Or,

Click on Start, Run, type msconfig.

Under the Services tab, put a check mark on "Windows Firewall".

Or,

Click Start, then Run and type CMD in the dialogue box that appears, and then click OK. Type netsh winsock reset into the DOS window that appears.

If still no luck,

Click Start, then Run and type CMD in the dialogue box that appears, and then click OK. Type netsh firewall set opmode enable into the DOS window that appears.

I checked the first two and it was checked and automatic. I'm running Malwarebytes AntiMalware now, and then Avira Anti virus found a trojan virus. I guess I should put that in another post. I'll do the CMD prompts when I figure out this virus thing.

The reason I asked age is possible that cmos battery dead and that is what holds settings.
