I would like to know if it is possible to check malware links ? For example if somebody send you some url to check if it is not dangerous.

Most antiviruses with a firewall check both incoming and outgoing connections. They would block your access to websites with malicious content. My kaspersky internet security wouldn't allow me to download any file that is malicious.

I have antivirus ESET NOD32 Antivirus but without firewall. The only firewall I have is from Windows XP.

don't click on such links. Was checking the Nod32 site, I guess nod32 is equipped with features to prevent access to malicious websites.

yeah it would, even in kaspersky I am not sure if this feature is available without enabling parental control.

Just put the url into the address bar on the above websites, the WOT link checks reviews of the site and the Dr. Web link scans the link for anything malicious.

The Dr. Web website has an add-on for some browsers so you can just right-click the link and scan it, here's that link.

WOT also has an add-on for firefox or internet explorer,

Also I believe NOD32 has a webscanner so if the page is malicious and NOD32 can detect it then it will give you an alert, but it won't tell you before you go to the link.

Those links should help but you should still take caution with clicking links you're unsure about.

Dr. Web link scans says that the link is OK and there is not information about this link in WOT link checks.
I prefer not to open that link.

I have Online Armor that will tell you of bad sites.

So will a-squared Anti-Malware.

A good hosts file will block out bad sites so having one and keeping it updated helps a lot.

spywareblaster does the same but is made more for IE because with Firefox it only blocks cookies.
