Question Need help in configuring 2wire Firewall Settings.
Hello,

Pardon me if this is not the correct forum.

I have a DSL connection from AT&T. I need to config the DSL Router's (HomePortal 1000SW) firewall settings to MAXIMUM security.

Will you help me?

I have also installed McAfee's internet security package which is free for all AT&T DSL customers.

Here are the settings as of now. All all checked EXCEPT Stealth Mode, Block Ping, Strict UDP Session Control, Outbound and Inbound NetBIOS.

Security Check to enable the features below:

Stealth Mode
Block Ping

Strict UDP Session Control
Inbound and Outbound Control Checking the box allows the associated traffic type through the firewall.

Outbound

HTTP
HTTPS
FTP
Telnet
SMTP
DNS
NetBIOS
POP3
IMAP
NNTP
IRC
H323
All Other Protocols

Inbound
Remote Management
NetBIOS

Many thanks in advance
