comodo
i use both comodo 3.9 free firewall & antivius. i have had no problems with it. it scans twice as fast as avg did. i used avg for years but gave up on it a few month ago with all the update problems. if you download & install ,WATCH , it will want to install "ask toolbar ,browser & homepage ", i didn't want any of that stuff. all you do is uncheck items before installing. you download both but only install wehat you want.

I tried the CIS for a while. Have always used Comodos firewall (ver 2.4) and thought to give it a try.
They make a fantastic firewall, but, since new to the AV field, they just aren't up to par.
Removed and reinstalled my Avira AntiVir and older Comodo Personal Firewall.

Comodo antivirus is improving by the day and is best used as part of their Internet Security program.

At the moment it seems to have better detection than AVG but not yet up to Avira or Avast, however the rest of the suite can stop anything anyway unless you allow.

The comparison link seems to be for the old Comodo Antivirus which was rubbish. The latest one was first launched only last October and is much improved since then.
