New Trend install
I just installed Trend antivirus/antispyware. When I tried to do the updates, the program doesn't see my internet connection. I have a linksys wireless router but have never had any problems before this. Windows did not ask me to allow the access. I have a Toshiba Satellite running Vista. I have tried turning off the firewall, that didn't work. The program was able to access the internet for activation. I am Totally Confused!!!

Try turning off your firewall if you have one.

I did that, no luck. the message says to make sure my internet connection works and to check my proxy settings, which I don't have.
