trend micro blocks internet connection

i recently bought a new cpu and they installed the trend micro virus and firewall protection. I don't know what or how it happen but it wont let me login to the internet unless i disabled trend micro. I dont want to be doing that and besides Trend Micro is already asking me for an update; which i can't do because it wont let me login in when trend Micro in enabled. Ill appreciate any suggestions and specially a solution
