Solved: about blank: ?
I have my browser set up so that when i open it it is set to 'about blank: and my FastDial
add-on presents instead of a blank page, if i then hit home it is set to take me to google search. my question is:

Is having your homepage set to about blank: a security risk or will it increase your browsers security level?

THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE HIGHJACKER ABOUTBLANK!

It depends on the quality of the site that you use as your homepage. Just make sure the site you use doesn't have unwanted stuff which may harm your pc.
You can even use a blank page as your homepage, I see no harm in it.
