can only get on wirelessly, not through wired connection
Hello,

I am only able to connect through wireless but not wired connection. Usually I see the reverse problem. This started a couple of weeks ago. I had called tech support for Sony and they told me to remove battery and start again. That worked for about a day. I tried to repeat their instructions and it still does not work. It cost $40 to call them so don't want to waste my money for temp advice again.

This is generally not a problem except for a few sites I like (like file sharing and some games) that do not work well unless wired. Is there any reason you can think that this is happening.

It is not the modem or router because the other computer works well wired.

Thanks so much,

Adam

Have you tried using the wire and router jack that currently works? that is, unplug the wire from a known working PC and plug it into this problematic pc.
