Exclamation Can't turn on windows firewall- XPHome edition
Well....Other family members were visiting celebrity web sites....
After removing several virus that found their way onto my machine,
I noticed that my firewall was OFF. Attempts to turn it back on were met with 'settings controlled by Group Policy'.
Running windows XP Home edition, Symantec AV , Spyware Doctor.
On Bootup, Windows Firewall is initally ON, shuts itself OFF after about one minute. (without any notification).
This is a stand-alone, not networked. How do I get whatever malware off
& get my Firewall to turn on? (Without totally reloading XP?).
Thanks!
