Symantec Configuration
I am using Symantec Endpoint Protection version 11.0.4000.2295 on a Vista Dell Latitude D830. I am unable to access my VPN for work. If I disable Symantec, I can access the VPN with no issues. So there must be a configuration in Symantec that needs changed. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.

In my experience, any firewall software seems to block VPN connections. Just disable it when you make the VPN connection, and enable it when you're done.

Thanks for your response! But, if I disable Symantec Endpoint Protection, won't that leave me unprotected? Or is it as long as I'm only connecting through VPN to work, the risk is virtually zero? I often need to connect when I'm using wireless in public places.
