Is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free, or does it have a free version? Wait, I'll google it. Thanks for the tip, hewee.

One more question, is the freeware version of Malwarebytes Anti-Spyware freeware effective, like the free version of SUPERAntispyware? I found that the freeware version of SUPERAntispyware to be very effective for a free version.

Dear DorianVonRichter,
MalwareBytes Anti-Malware is top class ,whether it's the free or paid version. MBAM is used to good effect by most of us on this site and i would personally recommend it immensely! The false-positive rate is very low, and the paid version sits in the system tray and like "Flash Gordon" neutralizes any threat(real-time) in a nano! If you have a decent enough A-V working in real-time, MBAM (free) should suffice(though i have the paid version).
The SAS and the MBAM folks are pleasant enough to offer a single life-time payment. To add winpatrol(scotty on the prowl) just asks for a donation if you find the program useful! Now, how's that for generosity? I am sorry that i don't remember the full name of the program developer, but it starts with Bill. (hewee knows better than me).

I know you roam but what do you like to read? Tried "Bing"ing a few times, but no match to Googling! Bing's got a long way up to match Google, but i guess MS will accomplish the task! No competition,no growth!
Thank u for the info' about Bill Pytlovany and he's a member of our site!

Alright, do I go with Win-patrol or MBAS? Are they the same kind of program? Here is my security on this Vista computer: AVG Antivirus 8.5 Free, Windows Defender(came with Windows, sucks though) SUPERAntispyware Free, and SpywareBlaster.

Dear DorianVonRichter,
MBAM and WinPatrol have totally different functions. MBAM is a super malware catcher and remover and Winpatrol sort of watches every new entry or change in your comp. and alerts you and asks for permission to "allow" or "deny". An example would be, I have Winamp (free) installed ( the best music/video player in the business). Since i have an iPod ,i install iTunes and download all my music/Videos to it. Then Winpatrol asks me "would you like to change your default music player from Winamp to iTunes?" Since iTunes is notches below Winamp ,i click on"Deny"! Initially irksome (slightly), but a true friend and protector as you will find out! Best wishes.
PS:website of Winamp :www.winamp.com/
