Wow! Kind of scary, because I use McAfee, and it just ran a scan today!
Thanks for posting.

Dear SIR****TMG,
Thank you for the post! Kind of cruel on those using McAfee though! My advise would be "not to run a scan" until a fix is found. Did'nt see your post and started a thread of my own. I have requested the powers that be to remove my post. This is really another nail in McAfee's coffin! A sadistic prank on USA's Independence day.

Thumbs up My PC was attacked and rendered useless. I was kind of forced ....
to clean iinstall XP. It was quick and less painful because I had an Image which was I created by using Macrium Reflect Free Edition just two weeks back.

I really want to say "Thanks a LOT" to folks on this forum who HIGHLY RECOMMENDED it. I also used my Bart PE Resue CD for Macrium Reflect to restore the image.

Again.......HATS OF TO ALL those angels who helps us on this forum.

I want to thank you CookieGal specifically for all the help.

Keep the good work, folks...........

This is not the first time either. Several years ago we had a bad McAfee update at work. It took our IT department a couple of days to figure out it was McAfee that crashed all CAE workstations that had the same hardware configuration.
