I simply typed in the Google search box"install firefox 3.5.1"in the FF and it took me two min. to get the 3.5 to be updated to 3.5.1.To confess, when i started using FF3, i thought "aha, i have come at last to a browser which has taken care of all security" and how wrong i was! Now this is a sight for sore eyes : | | Distinguished Member with 4,901 posts. | | Join Date: Apr 2002 Location: Birmingham, England | | I just used the built in 'Check for updates' function under 'Help' in FF and got a 2 or 3MB upgrade to 3.5.1. I hadn't applied the workaround because Firefox isn't my default browser and, as I have NoScript installed, the JIT exploit wouldn't have worked anyway (at least that's how I interpreted the security bulletin)..
