Spy Sweeper always running!
I checked in my Task Manager and System, Processes and noticed that Webroot Spy Sweeper is always running, even when the program is not open. It's using 12460 K of memory. I tried disabling it in the start up program, Autoruns but it would not budge. Any suggestions?

Start-RUN
type in "msconfig" ( no quotes)
go to startup tab - untick relevant box(es)
services tab - tick Hide all Microsoft services - untick relevant box(es)
OK - reboot

relevent = relating to Spysweeper obv - should be obvious, if not do a bit of info digging(google) or post back

Problem solved!
Hey thanks for responding...I also posted this prob on another site (myantispyware.com) and someone came back with a suggestion that I check my services and disable, or at least set to manual, the Webroot reference.

Well I've gone through this before and I was like "ya, ya..I've checked that before" but for some reason this time when I checked "services", there were two references to Webroot, whereas before I could swear that there was only one. The main one, which, regulates Spy Sweeper.exe could not be stopped, which is understandable, but this one...and I even forget the complete name..all I know is that it had Webroot in it, I was able to set to manual.

After I did that, the process was gone in Task Manager.
