Norton 2009..... what?!?!?!
I've read a couple of editorial reviews on Norton 2009 and they all gave it exceptional ratings. This surprised me since Norton was known to be bloaty and sluggish.
But I never read any customer ratings. So I ask here: anyone like/dislike Norton 2009?
I'm thinking of changing from Avira (free version) to something else.

Senq in advance!!

Forgive me Mike... but I would stay away from Norton if I were you...

We are constantly helping people with Norton issues (viruses, bad uninstallations, conflicts...)

Another example why you should stay away from Norton:

I have NIS 2009. I'm extremely security conscious and do not visit any nefarious websites. Never the less, two weeks ago, I found myself reinstalling my OS due to an extremely nasty Trojan Horse that NIS let in. It basically took over NIS and rendered it as well as my computer useless. It got to the point that I couldn't even boot and had to reinstall, losing all the data that I wasn't smart enough to back up.

Other than that, Norton works fine.
