I have started getting this message when my Windows XP computer boots up or refreshes. The message is that this program wants to access the internet and the "computer" recommends that this always be allowed. I can't find this on a google search. Thanks

I really don't intend to sound sarcastic at all but I'm wondering what Google search you did as there are thousands of hits for this file. It's WebRoot's (spysweeper) updates.

Did you just install SpySweeper?

I searched wr consumer services rather than the url and I got a million hits on wr Grace and only one early hit on this forum....that's how I got hear. I have been running spy sweeper for a year, maybe, but just started getting this message. I appreciate your response. Yes I'm not too saavy.

By "the computer", are you refering to your firewall? Have you enabled Windows Firewall lately, or have you installed a firewall? If so, you should let wrconsumerservices.exe access the Web if you want your Spy Sweeper to get updates, especially definition updates.
