Latest Microsoft Update
I was under the impression that Internet Explorer was vulnerable, hence the out of sequence update. I have Automatic updates turned on but there was no update. I went to Windows Update and Microsoft Update and got this message at both sites:
"No high-priority updates for your computer are available."
Why not?

You show you're using XP SP3, but you don't show which version of IE you're using.

IE8:

IE7:

Version 7
Why didn't the update site show that I needed it?

That's one reason why I visit the Microsoft Download Center site a few times a month.

It'll release and post updates that don't always appear in Automatic Updates.

Click "Released" and then click it a second time so it brings up the most current updates.
