Solved: logging in problem which is driving me crazy
Hi,
Please help as this little problem is driving me round the bend.
My Laptop has decided to send me round in circles when I log onto Ebay.
It is not an Ebay problem as I can access all areas of it on other pc's/laptops using my logins.
When I try on my Laptop it allows me to log in ok but when I try going into different sections of it it keeps bringing up the sign in page and won't accept my details???
I am presuming my Kaspersky is doing this but have no idea where to start.
Many thanks in advance for help rendered

Dear spankmeister2000,
What product of KAS. do you have? Is it a simple A-V or the Kaspersky Internet Security Suite 2009 (KIS2009)? If it is KIS2009, open the KIS window and click on"system security" on the left hand side. You can see the "Firewall",right? Just click on it and a drop down menu will appear and select and click on "settings". Now you can see "Enable Firewall" (it should be ticked on). Click on it and a window will open. Select "Network Packets"and you can see "Trusted Networks" . Just highlight the "trusted networks" and at the bottom of the window click on "Add" and a window will open> Network rule> tick"allow" and scroll down and highlight> Web Browsing>click on "Add" below it>type www.ebay.com The next step should be scroll down the same window and you can see > Address> click on>Address from Group>click on "Add" below and >type www.ebay.com.> Now highlight the ebay. address and click on OK. You are done.I am providing a few snaps to help guide you thru' this maze, have a look! Let me know how it went!Ciao!

Glad i could be of some help! The moral of the lesson for me/you is ,just having a firewall or a security suite is not enough, and spending quality time on learning the nuances of it will help in both the short and long run! BTW,Buying jewelery?

PS:Thrift is a gift which i don't have and i hate plastic money!
