Angry Windows cannot open this file rundll32.exe Missing
Hi Guy's first incorrect move I downloaded from Torrent Ahead Nero 9.0.9.4b then as always scanned with AVG and Spybot which indicated all good, well that was when the .... hit the fan all the icons changed so when I clicked to open said " Windows cannot open this file" wonderful. So after many hours of looking for information on what is wrong and attempting to correct I ended back with Tech Support Guy.
Tried ( Run ) to look for rundll32.exe as well as looking on XP Pro disk I can't even do a repair from disk, tried booting and going into safe mode system freezes Windows Security Alert is red ARRRRRRR.

Can you help me out of this mess?
Cheers Col

if you can boot up(either safe mode or regular) run
sfc /scannow from a cmd window to check your system files...

(google sfc if not sure)

that's cause I told you to run it from a cmd window...NOT START/RUN...

and it's sfc /scannow (note the space between sfc and /)
