Hi hewee, I just wanted to add that i read in FAQ'S about the freebee, that if one does not activate the key within 30 days that the key will be cancelled. This is because of people using more than 1 email address to get the free key and stocking up.

I just seen that also.

I only used the one address that is the same as with the each I have has.
Now if you but a 2nd year for $10.00 then the key will not get deleted.

See this thread.

I know that is great still with the full paid price at $39.95 so $10.00 more and it will be...
A $49.95 two year license to Online Armor Premium firewall for $10 with the code taking away the $39.95.

Harry, how does this compare with the free Zone Alarm?

Thanks Harry I'll check it out, I've never had problems with ZA and the best thing about it I find is it's been the easiest firewall to configure, most of them aren't and I've tried almost all the free ones to date.

Thanks, I'm still using my "Give Away of the Day" as well but I can just switch it for this to get some extra time then.

I haven't used zonealarm in a very long time so I'm not sure about the differences but I do know that Online Armor tries to make their firewall easy to use,

Here's a blog post from Mike Nash (tallemu CEO) about using Online Armor http://onlinearmorpersonalfirewall.b...actices-1.html which should help if you decide to try it.

It is easy really because I had ZA Pro for years so did not like changing at first because I knew everything about ZA.
But got used to it and it is made so it can setup the right for everything.
Not updated to show some newer things in the newer versions but your see lots here on how OA works.
http://www.tallemu.com/webhelp3/
Like here you http://www.tallemu.com/webhelp3/RunningSCW.html you got what runs after the install and Wizard will set you all up.
Like pop-up http://www.tallemu.com/webhelp3/Popups.html I seen a couple times now a place to check for system backups. I do not see then here but that is new and if you get a a pop-up because your installing a program you can check the added box to do a backup.
Plus cleaning up all programs and or components are easy because they show up with a gray background. http://www.tallemu.com/webhelp3/Programs.html#options
Mike the CEO gets lots of input from people at the forum and ask then what they like etc and lots of those things have been done.

Yes he has done a lot to make things easy and version 3.x he did more and this newer version even more added. I really like it and it keeps getting better and it is staying at the top of the rating list also so what more can we ask for.
Plus we got the CEO, Mike that listens and talk to you.

I got to lose my give away of the day I have 314 days left on because I can not add this new key to the year.
But I can start the year over again with the new key and if I wait a couple weeks then I can start the year again.

Next time they have a give away I better pay to get the added year and that way I get more paid years that the time will not run out.
