Install Norton 360 fails
Can't install renewed subscription to Norton 360 for my Windows XP. My default browser is Mozilla Foxfire. Do I need to activate Internet Explorer for the install to succeed or what else?

Have you tried contacting Norton. You did pay for the service...

You might have a virus in your computer, because viruses can prevent downloading anti-virus software.

Hi Mummly,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

Can you please tell me what error messages you receive when trying to update to Norton 360 version 3?

If you have not already done so, open Norton 360 version 2, mouse-over the "PC Security" bubble and choose "Check for Updates". After the updates have been installed, restart your computer. Next, launch Norton 360 and complete a "Comprehensive Scan" to check for infections. Let me know if any infections were found and if Norton 360 was able to remove or quarantine the files.

Thanks,
Mike
