Misconfig messed up my computer !
HELLO EVERYONE MY NAME IS KATINKA & I'M DIRE HELP BECAUSE MY COMPUTER GOT MESSED UP WHEN I WAS IN MSCONFIG
I'M NOT VERY LITERATE IN COMPUTERS BUT IF SOMEONE EXPLAINS TO ME HOW I CAN FIX THIS PROBLEM I'M SURE I CAN TRY & FIX IT.MY SITUATION WAS MY COMPUTER CONTRACTED THAT ROGUE VIRUS THAT'S GOING AROUND RIGHT NOW "ANTI VIRUS PRO 2009" I HAD WENT TO YOU YOUTUBE TO SEE HOW I CAN REMOVE IT.I TRIED DELETING IT FROM MY COMPUTERS & IT SEEMED TO HELP WITH TH OCCASIONAL POP UP WARNING ME THAT MY COMPUTER HAD A VIRUS.SO THEN I WANTED TO GET RID OF THE OCCASIONAL POP UPS & I HAD WATCHED ANOTHER VID. ON YOUTUBE ON HOW TO GO ABOUT DOING THIS.IT INSTRUCTED ME TO GO IN MSCONFIG & FOR SOME REASON UNKNOW TO ME I DISABLED SOMETHING IN MS CONFIG.AFTER DOING SO SOME OF THE OPTIONS IN THE SERVICES TAB DISAPPEEARED....AFTER THIS MY COMPUTER REVERTED BACK TO THE CLASSIC DEFAULT.NOW I CAN'T DO A SYSTEM RESTORE OR EVEN ACCESS MY INTERNET.AFTER GOING INTO MSCONFIG EVERYTHING GOT MESSED UP
BTW I USE WINDOWS XP.PLEASE E-MAIL ME AT <email removed> IF THERE IS ANYWAY YOU CAN HELP ME OUT.I'M STUDYING FOR MY NURSING ENTRANCE EXAM & REALLY NEED ACCESS TO THE COMPUTER AS MY EXAM IS COMING UP PRETTY SOON.ANY ADVICE OR ANSWERS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.THANKY OU VERY MUCH!

Your second post was much clearer and easier to read. Some spaces would make things easier to read, and well as paragraphs. It was just all mashed together.
What operating system do you have? I'll move you to the right forum.

I didn't know grammar was evaluated in these posts, but I could see how it could help clarify understanding of people's posts.Thank you for the tip btw.I run on Windows XP.Thanks again for the reply it's greatly appreciated.

Also, you shouldn't type in all caps as that is considered shouting in the cyber world and also makes it more difficult to read. I see you've corrected that now but just wanted to mention the reasoning.
Your new thread is also in the wrong forum so I've moved it to the Malware Removal & HijackThis Logs forum which is where things go that deal with malware.
I'll close this one now.
