Icon is gone thanks to trick
Hey thanks for the advice... i don't think that woulda worked...but apparently i found out from a friend how to trick your computer, i right clicked the icon which was 0mb, so no data, and then i chose to compress the file and when my computer tried looking for the file to compress it couldn't archive a file that wasn't really there...so right when i finished it up and pushed okay after it said file cannot be found...the icon went away.

Also you might be running the file that you wanted to be deleted. See if you really not running the file.

Checked that aswell
Yea thats what i thought that a program was running it and i didn't even know...but i had closed all programs and i restarted so i was worried that i got a virus or something because it just wouldn't go away. But yeah so now you guys know a little computer trick too if anything like that happens with you. Just try and trick your computer into compressing the file and having to look for it when it really isn't there and then when i ended up closing it after it said it cannot be found, it automatically went away.

You might have been able to just delete it in safe mode as well.

I like to try the simple solutions first. They don't always work but sometimes they do.
