Dear Tom,
Thank you for the post and the article! I have been requesting members to really seriously read your posts as many of the cautions of your's are slowly but surely coming to become true! Even a specialist like Elvandil says it's impossible for any security software to stop entry of "malware" because of the rate of release and technology involved!

Actually Elvandil doesn't say any security he says it's impossible for blacklist scanners (Anti-virus, Anti-malware, Anti-spyware, etc.) to keep up, I agree of course.

But all is not lost since there are much better forms of computer security anyway.

Dear Gizzy,
I should have been more specific--->Anti-Virus software, and not the online-scanners!

Actually online scanners are basically the same thing just instead of being installed on your computer the scanning is done from the website, but they're still blacklist scanners.

Dear Gizzy,
There IS a slight difference(LOL)! The panda online scanner won't remove "malware" after identification, and prompts you to buy! Just tried the Trend-Micro beta version of online scanner and KIS dismissed it from it's presense like a Federer's return of serve for a winner at Wimbledon! But you are right! Hey, the Opera is not smiling! Dear Gizzy, help me out! What did i do wrong? I have the 10.00 Beta 3 version. The other browsers i have FF3.5.2, IE8 and Safari 4.0.3, are all fine!

You seem to have nothing but problems with Opera, Well I guess you can say you don't give up easily because you keep trying it anyway.

What problems are you having? Still the problems with the BBCode/Smileys?
If so and if you didn't change any settings in opera then I'm not sure why you're having those problems....
I'm using Opera 10 b3 as well but it's working fine for me.
