Removing old Norton and installing new
Hello, I have recently bought a new pc and it came with norton free trial. However i have since purchased norton 360 3.0 version for 1 year protection. I am having great difficulty though installing this. I am following the on screen instructions which read" deleting old version" old version deleted, please restart computer" I do this and the same message comes up time after time. I don't know what to do, as it doesnt seem to be deleting old version and not adding the my new norton 360. please help thank you

Hello and welcome.

Try this first to remove the old Norton.

Then install the new one.

Tut Tut.

Are you sure you downloaded the right version for the Norton you have installed?

Double check.

Sometimes with a failed uninstall just reinstalling Norton again and then using the Norton Removal tool works.
If no joy, there are a couple other tools which may work: Revouninstaller or appremover
