Question Spanish at start up
Hope I hear from some one...I am not the greatest on a computer, but lately when I start up and the first page which is the MSN home page...it will be in Spanish. I am not spanish ...and I know how to switch it back by clicking the english selection. But why does it open in spanish? Is some body nosing around on my pc when I am not there, or some one mesing with my head?

Dear Backseatdriver,
If you are using IE8, check this out! By mischance, Spanish could have crept in the preferred language option! I am providing a link, which may help! What version of Windows do you have and what IE version? Link ; http://help.msn.com/%28cHJvamVjdD1tc...ayLanguage.htm

Best wishes and WELCOME! Don't you like Firefox?

IF you want IE 8 : http://www.ghacks.net/2009/03/20/int...er-8-download/

First thing would be to determine if it only does that with MSN. If you go to Google, what language does it display?

Try deleting your temporary Internet files, cookies and browser history.

To do so in IE7 or 8, open the Options. Under the General tab, Browsing history, click on Delete... Then, delete everything in there.

Try the MSN Web page again.
