Security for what? Theft? Data loss? Viruses?

sorry should have been more specific, I need to password protect my data on the drive. Not too worried about viruses

I tried a ton of open source programs but none of them just gave me the option for a plain old password for my entire drive, so I should have thought of this in the first place but I went on the vendors website and they had software for the flash drive that allowed me to password protect my drive
