hi, i have eset nod32 antivirus and i was trying to update it to eset smart security so i removed the antivirus software and tried installing smart security but something went wrong and it wasnt letting me download smart security or the antivirus back. so i did system restore to before i uninstalled the antivirus software and it worked but now when ever i open up the antivirus it says:

Maximum protection is not ensured, Antivirus protection disabled

a serious error ocurred while starting real-time file system protection. The computer is not protected against threats. The program needs to be reinstalled!

An error ocurred while starting services. Analysis of application protocols (POP3, HTTP) willl not funtion.

what can i do to fix this? Can someone please help me

and also when i try to reinstall the antivirus it says:

could not delete key \Software\ESET\ESET Security. verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

and then it gives me 3 options to cancel, retry and ignore.

can someone please help me

To uninstall Nod32, use this tool:
http://www.revouninstaller.com/
Then reinstall it.....

i clicked ignore, now its saying found 673 registry items should i delete them all?

nope, it didnt work while i was re-installing it the same error message in post #5 so i kept clicking ignore, and when i opened up the antivirus it gave the same message as in post #1. Please help me

I would recommend posting a hijack this log, as I feel that your pc may be infected. Even if it is not infected, we may at least get to know what program is causing such instabilities.
