Is this a threat?

Hi well today when i started my computer something unusual happened. This window opened called form1, but it didn't display anything it was just in my tool bar. It doesn't seam to be affecting anything, but I'm just wondering what is it and how can i remove it because it wasn't there before.

Go here and click the green icon to download HijackThis 2.0.2.

Install it in its default location: C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis.

Close all open browser windows, then run a scan with it - which will take 30 seconds or less.

Save the resulting log in Notepad.

Return here, then copy-and-paste the entire log here.

Do the following in the order listed.

Go into the "Add Or Remove Programs" list and see if

SeekmoSA or Seekmo

WhenUSave or Save

OneStepSrch

are listed there. If they are, uninstall/remove them.

Next, go into the C:\Program Files folder and see folders with those names are listed there. If they are, delete those folders.

Restart your computer afterwards.

Go here and go here and click the green icon to download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.40 and SUPERAntiSpyware 4.27.0.1002.

Close all open browser windows, then install them both.

If the definition files aren't updated during the install process, run their update function afterwards and make sure the latest definition files are installed.

Start Malwarebytes and run a "quick scan" with it. When the scan is finished, select and allow it to fix EVERYTHING it finds. Restart your computer if prompted to.

Start SUPERAntiSpyware and run a "quick scan" with it. When the scan is finished, select and allow it to fix EVERYTHING it finds. Restart your computer if prompted to.

Run a HijackThis scan, then post that new log here.

Your new HijackThis log shows that you installed SUPERAntiSpyware, but I can't tell if you also installed Malwarebytes.

If you did install them both, did you update them afterwards, then run a "quick scan" with them, then select and fix everything they found?

Are you saying those 2 programs weren't in the Add Or Remove Programs list, or are you saying you didn't see their folders in the C:\Program Files folder?

Yes I installed both programs and updated them and ran the quick scan fixing everything they found.

The two programs were not in the add or remove program list or in the program files folder.

Just download and save for now and don't install it yet.

Uninstall Sun Java Runtime Environment 1.6.0.01 and any other older versions still present.

Because there are anti-spyware programs out there that do a better job, are more user-friendly, and are less system-hungry. Spybot's "TeaTimer" is also known to be problematic.

My recommendation(and the recommendation of many others in this forum) is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 1.40 and SUPERAntiSpyware 4.28.0.1008. You can download them from here.

Let's get the startup load trimmed down because your computer has O4 startup entries and O23 service entries that are automatically loading and running and don't need to be doing so.

Click Start - Run, type in MSCONFIG and then click OK - "Startup"(tab).

Remove the checkmark in
