Solved: scanning with MBAM
just a curious question here,

when running most scans they always take quite a while to do but how comes when running an MBAM scan for spyware it only takes a few minutes to look through my pc, does it scan every part of my pc or just certain parts?

p.s cant you tell i am bored on this holiday Monday in the UK !!

It depends on your preferences; a fast scan only checks the most common and vulnerables areas for infection, a full scan goes through every local hard drive.

A "quick scan" wiht MBAM is sufficient, unless you suspect or have a malware problem. Run a "full scan" about once a month.
