Newly Built Computer
I just built this PC, and it has a Core2Duo e7400 2.8ghz processor, a xfx nvidia geforce 9800gt 512mb pci-e, 600w coolmaster power supply, 2x1gb Kingston Hyper Memory DDR2 pc4200, Western Digital wd1600js 160gb Hard drive, and a Gigabyte ep43l-ud3l motherboard. And, when i first built it i had problems with the harddrive so i had to zero it all out. Then finally got it workin but, now whenever i open up mozilla, and something else it lags, more than it should. My older pc that was a p4 loaded about the same. But i was wondering, could it be my hard drive? or is it just something in the software? It runs games awesome, but when im just using xp i cant have more the 2 or 3 windows open. If you have any idea to what the problem is please reply to my thread. Thank you
-Tommy M.
