VPN+Norton Internet Security 2009
Hi!

I'm having some trouble setting up my VPN connection. The VPN shuts down after 2-3 minutes, and i get Error: 619.
The error code doesn't make any sense, I've checked the Microsoft website.

I've tried the VPN connection on three computers, it only worked on the one without NIS 2009. Which leads me to believe that NIS 2009 is the problem. The thing is that it's not my computer, and removing NIS 2009 on my computers is not an option.

I've set up a firewall rule allowing outgoing connections, TCP and UDP and opened port 1723. Still doesn't work though...

I've tried Ivacy's VPN (you get 100mb free) and that works fine. But it's more expensive and slower than the one I got now.
The only difference that I can see between the two is that Ivacy uses a program (.exe) to connect. But my current VPN uses Windows own guide to setting up connections.
So I can't use the Program Control to set up a firewall rule. I have to go via Advanced settings and General rules.

I've also tried to copy the settings on the Ivacy connection to my current one, but nothing seems to do the trick.

I don't have a router or anything like that.

If someone has a solution to this I would be forever grateful!

EDIT: Oops, might have posted this in the wrong section. If any mod sees this please move this to the correct place. Thanks
