Blue Screen and Virus

Hi any help will be a big help at moment

Ok my son he has a Aleinware pc he recently had few probs with viruses
BUt he has trouble sorting them without going in to safe mode as nothing lets him do this normal.

Last night he turn on pc as it loaded up windows xp then you get the bar load up it the screen goes blue and then it keep reseting itself .

He cant now even do anything in safe mode can you help at all im to far away to go there and help many thanks .

He just gone colledge toda yand was his birthday so he really fed up with alll this
