system recovery
If I do a system recovery will it eliminate the google redirecting?

Please click here to download and install the HijackThis installer.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

Do not fix anything

Follow the instructions in post #2 and copy-and-paste a HijackThis log here. Make sure to close all open windows before running a scan with it.

Doing a system recovery and reverting your computer back to its original factory specs is a pretty drastic step to take just to deal with a Google redirect problem.
