Question Windows Xp firewall turns off after restart
Hi there

I have Windows XP pro serv.pack2 operating system.I recently started having problems with firewall which turns itself off after restart or reboot.I have AVG antivirus(free) and I have done scans with spyhunter and managed to remove some trojans with success.Can someone advise me how to fix this problem????Many thanks beforehand

This is often caused by malware.

Please click here to download and install the HijackThis installer.

Run it and select Do a system scan and save a logfile.

The log will be saved in Notepad. Copy and paste the log in your next post.

Do not fix anything

Later, it might be a good idea to get yourself a third party firewall.
