Okay...
So I am waiting too be paid on Friday. When I get paid I am ordering new parts for computer. When I install new parts I am also going to do a fresh install of my operating system (XP Pro). Now for my main question. What would be a good combination of programs (free or pay-to-use) that would help protect my system? All ideas and input appreciated. ATM i just have spyware doctor, spybot S&D, adaware SE and AVG free. I have taken a look at another thread giving some basic security guidelines. Plan to try some of those. Basically just wanna keep comp running good and clean. I dont browse the web alot. Visit the following sites mainly....

uo.stratics.com
uo.com
myspace.com
facebook.com
techguy.org
foxnews.com
cnn.com
runuo.com
uogamers.com
newsoftheweird.com

Those are bascially it if I am on the computer. I will not have any type of P2P software on this comp. Have that crap on junk comp. What do you all think will be good for me?

Hi,
That looks pretty comprehensive. My surfing is of a similar kind but as an extra layer of security I use Sandboxie. Their site explains it better than I can, hope it's of interest:

Well have you tried to see if the site's newslletter below me could help you on how to be secured on those kind of security threats? Well not forcing your to sign up but try it out i learned some thing from it.

But to the looks of it you really have good security in your computer and to the looks of it you don't go so much on sites that has viruses wihti9n them. But my advice if you are using Torrents or any P2P programs you might need to fully sweep your computer.
