Solved: Updating from NIS 2007 to NIS 2009: solved
I had opened a thread quite some time ago asking how to upgrade from NIS 2007 to NIS 2009 cleanly. I ended up upgrading from NIS 2007 to NIS 2010 following Michael York's instructions (downloaded and saved the Norton removal tool, ran it twice, then installed NIS 2010) day before yesterday. Everything went very smoothly, and I am very happy. Thanks to all who helped me, especially to Michael York
I cannot mark my old thread solved because it was closed/locked since no one had posted to it for such a long time, so I would just like to paste the link to my thread over here and say that it has been solved.
