Solved: outpost firewall 2009
i wanted to download Outpost Firewall 2009, the free version but by mistake i installed Firewall Pro which is a 30 day trial version, i then tried to uninstall it using my revo and something went wrong now it wont let me uninstall it, it comes up with this message. file c:\ program files\agnitum\outpost firewall unins000.dat could not be opened can not uninstall. error 5: access is denied.

also i just noticed that the computer that i am putting this firewall on does not have a "security centre" in the control panel which means that i can see if the windows firewall is enabled , it is windows xp SP2
would this security centre be any where else, any one get any ideas?

just finished running some windows updates and the following message appeared, not sure if this is all linked.

SOME UPDATES COULD NOT BE INSTALLED:

SECURITY UPDATE FOR WINDOWS XP: (KB 908531)

You can download the service packs directly from Microsoft.
