Talking Its gone bye bye again
Hey Rich when my puter loaded up this morning the resident was back un active and wont turn on again! I turn my puter off every night at bedtime. Too many surges and power failures in the lil one horse town for me...but it shouldnt make a differance that shouldnt lose the resident shield should it? Thanks sorry to bother you again..Oh by the way I am a Yoda fan too he was my fav...

Remove AVG again ...
Then run the appropriate AVG remover tool (32 or 64 bit) >>> http://www.avg.com/download-tools
Then reinstall .. and update.
Once it's working again (I hope) .. Run a full scan

I had to do this about a week ago for the same reason.

What's wrong with the old Video card ???
You need to make sure your Dell power supply can handle a newer Video card.

Good Luck.
