Smile anybody used microsoft security essentials?
a friend of mine told me that microsoft has released a free anti spyware/virus security
suite...called ms security essentials

apparntly its free...has anybody used it...?

is it any good?

would i be better off sticking to AVG 8.5
and using other spyware packages

MSE is rock solid and very low impact on system resources. Plus all the independent AV sites give it top notch rating in all areas.

It's still in beta development, so I would wait until the final version is released.

The final version has been released in a limited basis. It will be released to the general pubic within the next few weeks.
