try a free uninstaller such as Revo ensure you only delete the files found that are bolded and you should have no problems removing it thoroughly

I just found out something interesting when I tried to go to www.ewido.net. It's now part of AVG.

Sue:

Is Ewido Security Suite still listed in "Add Or Remove Programs"?

Does it still have a folder inside the C:\Program Files folder?

not listed in add or remove programs, found these 2 files when searching local c drive
file 1 reads as c:\ ewido program files file folder
file 2 reads as c:\ program file\ewido\securitysuite 17kb application when trying to remove with uninstaller just keep getting access denied.

Sue:

I'm trying to help you manually delete the Ewido files and folders, but you need to advise the correct file paths and names so I know what's in your computer. I'm not there to see it for myself.

You're advising "file 1" is c:\ewido program files files folder. Without even looking at your computer, I know that's not a correct file path.

You're advising "file 2" is c:\program files\ewido\security suite. That file path makes a lot more sense, but I still want to confirm the correct file path.

Are you saying there's an ewido folder inside the c:\program files folder, and that there's a security suite folder inside the ewido folder?
