Uninstall Norton using the Norton Removal Tool. Then, reinstall the program and try the updates again.

I would asy you just hit a stroke of luck. Use the Norton Uninstall tool then download and install Free Avira Antivirus and you will be so much better off.

Hi Sally,

This is Mike from the Norton Authorized Support Team.

Can you please tell me what version of Norton Internet Security you have installed? Also, if you receive a numerical error message when trying to run LiveUpdate, please let me know which error is reported. This will help me to assist you in resolving the issue.

In the meantime, I would advise you to complete a "Full System Scan" with Norton to check for infections.

Thanks,
Mike
