Problem with antivirus
Hello
I have some problem with anti-virus. When I close it (ESET NOD32 Antivirus) I have this message: http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/8133/kasperskyt.png
I will translate it: 'Kaspersky Anti-Virus is deactivated. Click on this window to solve this problem.' I don't have installed Kaspersky but ESET NOD 32. Why do I have this message. It is true some time ago I had Kaspersky Anti-virus installed.
Regards

Kaspersky is not always easy to uninstall properly.

Try the Kaspersky Anti-Virus Remover.

You may have to go into startup and uncheck it hit apply and reboot:
"Run,msconfig,ok,startup"

You mean this window: http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/9917/msconfig.png ? There is not any entry related to Kaspersky. I think

I'm afraid you'll have to look for Kaspersky in your registry and all folders for traces to delete.

Use the Search option in the registry (Start > Run > regedit) and you'll surely find a lot of entries for Kaspesky. Be careful with what you delete though. It would be wise to backup the registry first.

Install Kaspersky after removing your present AV.
Then uninstall it.
Hope the Kaspersky error leaves then.

By the way, Kaspersky has got better protection when compared to ESET NOD32 Antivirus.

You need to enter that thought with IMHO because I can give you about 500+ members of another forum who will disagree with you vehemently!
For one thing Nod32 has really great spyware prevention with "Threatsense" and for another it's operation is as effective or more, imho, with a much smnoother operation in software.

I don't want to install again Kaspersky and remove my present Antivirus. I am happy with it.
Why do you think Kaspersky is better than ESET NOD32 Antivirus ?
Repeating my question: How can I backup registry ?

To backup Registry simply type in "Run", "Regedit", "File", "Export" and then choose where you want the registry backup to be saved.

I fail to see the relevance in connection with your original problem but I'd say stick to ESET!
