Can I use ESET NOD32 Antivirus together with ThreatFire ?
Hello
Can I use ESET NOD32 Antivirus together with ThreatFire ? I am using them together because ThreatFire has anti-keylogers option.

emil:
I'm not familiar with
ThreatFire
, but if it's an anti-virus program, you don't want to install and run 2 or more anti-virus programs at the same time.
Multiple anti-virus programs will fight with each and bog down a computer and make it more susceptible to infection.

It is not exactly like 'normal' antivirus. Here you have description:
'It does not rely on signatures, but instead constantly analyzes your computer's behavior to detect and block any malicious activity. ThreatFire protects immediately so you know your PC and your valuable data is always secure.
ThreatFire uses advanced patent-pending technology to detect signs of malicious behavior commonly used by malware threats. ThreatFire is unlike traditional antivirus products that rely on old fashioned "signature" technology and require updating every time a new threat occurs.
By constantly monitoring the activity on your PC ThreatFire's ActiveDefense technology is able to hunt down and paralyze threats that are too new or too clever to be ...'
It is true it blocked for example one of my installation processes and ESET NOD32 Antivirus didn't ask anything.

NOD32 does something really similar with its
ThreatSense
.
I'd say, stick with ESET. You don't need to add ThreatFire.
