Sudden Strange Problems?
When I was watching something on animeseason.com, it suddenly froze, then my computer shut down. I couldn't turn it back on because it kept freezing a couple seconds after I turned it on. The temperature monitor (neat lil thing that shows the internal temperature -- just shows next to the ON button.) showed 91f, then it rose to 96f when it froze. I let it rest and tried again a couple minutes later, and had to spam delete to get to a different screen. It froze again, so I let it rest again, then tried spamming tab instead. I selected start windows normally and everything went a little slow but it started. I'm doing a norton 360 scan and it said one risk was found and fixed, but I'm wondering if there's anything else I can do to ensure everything with my computer is alright?

I'm running windows vista, not very sure what other information I can supply. Thanks for your
help!

are you sure those measurements is Farenheit and not Centigrade? Anyways check your cpu fan and case fan to see if they are operating. Also check that the cpu heatsink is not covered by a layer of dust. You can buy cans on air spray to clean up dust problems, if any.

The computer is very new (not even a full year), and I'm not too sure what a heatsink is. This is the first time I've had any problems at all with it, though, so I'm at a loss.

The outer temperature gauge shows Farenheit.

91 F equals 33 C. And I think that this temperature is normal.

Did you install any new device drivers recently ? Did you install any other new software, or browser plugins ?

No, nothing of that liking. I didn't do anything new or different in any way from the things I've been doing since I've gotten the computer (watching anime, playing WoW/assorted games, music stuff, etc.)
