'required' programs
Hello. I just got a new computer, but have no virus/malware/etc protection yet. After a bit of reading i've decided to use the free version of avast for my virus protection. It also seems like spybot and superantispyware are heavy favorites.

My question is, other than avast, what programs should i use... like will just spybot work, or should i use it in addition to superantispyware or some other program?

Also. Any recommendations for a good bloatware removal tool?

Cheers.

I dont use Spybot anymore and although SuperAntispyware is good, I now just use Malwarebytes.

I just use it to scan manually once a week along with my regular Antivirus software.

Use Alwil Avast4 for combating viruses.

Use Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and SUPERAntiSpyware for combating malware, spyware, and other "nasties".

About once a week, get Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware up-to-date with the latest definition files, then run a quick scan with them, then select and allow them to fix EVERYTHING they find.
