AVG Search Shield
I opened a link in a reputable PC newsletter and got the alert: "Danger - AVG Search Shield has detected active threats on this page and has blocked access for your protection." I closed it and maybe should have used task manager for it because now most Firefox tabs open with this warning. I posted on the AVG forum and one man wrote that he has the same problem. I can get my mail and home page but he can't.

I have XP and did complete scans with AVG, Ad-Aware, SpyBot and Malawarebytes - nothing showed up. Has anybody else ever had this problem? And if so, what can be done?

Thanks..
