Solved: Just Cleaned System... Software advice needed
I just completed cleaning my PC with GREAT help from a member. I need a Firewall, AntiVirus and AntiSpyware and I'm confused about what to use. I've looked at Kaspersky 2010 Security but I'm not sure it offers all three (and their chat help takes FOREVER to get thru... I gave up!) Any suggestions?

are you looking for free or paid versions?

I have Avast free Anti virus which is very reliable, Malwarebytes and Superantispyware are a good team to have, I'm currently trying Ashampoo free firewall which seems to be doing a good job but it's down to your own preferences really, it's best to do a search and see how others rate these programmes which will hopefully help you to make a decision on which to try out.

Do you use the free Malwarebytes (which I believe doesn't scan all the time) or the paid version... I'm a little confused how it works.

Here is a link that will list a lot of free security sites for you.
I personally use Zone Alarm (fire wall), AVG free (antivirus) (should use only one of each type firewall. antivirus),
Superspyware, Malwarebytes, and C cleaner (disable the registry cleaner in it though).
All security programs work, IF you keep them updated and run on a regular schedule.

I am using Norton Antivirus 2010 and find it light, fast and gives great protection.
If you want a free antivirus, I would suggest Avast.

Really like Comodo for a firewall. Do not use the other Comodo features that come with download.

Use C Cleaner to clean temp files etc. Do not use registry cleaner.

Use Superantispyware, Malwarebytes, and SpywareBlaster.
