Solved: yahoo popping up in searches
I keep getting yahoo in address bar searches ,using firefox ,default home page is still google when i open but this yahoo stuff iv never had to deal with before.

It started right after i downloaded PDFCreator for jarte word possessor ,i did see the optional yahoo tool bar and im always prepared for it and unchecked but i guess i got a surprize?

What is this some type of tracker?

How do i stop it?

You should be able to uninstall the Yahoo search bar from Add/Remove Programs.

You will also need to remove the pdfforge toolbar and the Search Settings Plugin in Firefox.

In Firefox click on Tools - Add-ons - Plugins and you should see it in there.

You should be able to delete the toolbar in Control Panel - Add or Remove programs.

Sorry, your system specs don't say what OS you're running and I assumed it was XP. I don't know that much about Vista yet myself.

But I'm glad you got it sorted out now.
