Extremely erratic behivior
Extremely erratiExtremely erratic behivior

For the last month or so my comp has been acting very odd:

- must use alt+tab to give switch between programs. unresponsive to mouse click
- when browsing internet the the it will go back history until the current tab is on the start page.
- in windows explorer as well it will go back history until start page is reached
- quick launch buttons unresponsive to mouse over and/or click
- program icons in system tray unresponsive to mouse click

these issue don't happen every single time i use my computer. however, it is very disturbing behavior

I am running Windows XP SP3 and AVG Internet Security, both up to date. I also have scanned with spybot and malwarebytes and solved all issues.c behivior

Yes I have. I use a Microsoft wireless natural and have also tried switching back to the standard USB mouse. I get the same results with both. I did notice the last time I shut it down it kept making the system beep noise when it was waiting for me to click my shutdown choice (stAndby, restart or shutdown). I hit the backspace key (back history as well) and got the same system beep.
